Ford Moonroof Deflector ($37.00)

I sit tall and my head is close to the moonroof when I drive.  I purchased this to help with wind noise and buffeting.  Installation was a pain in the butt.  The deflector is flat while the roof of the Escape has a slight curve.  Because of this, there is a slight gap between the ends of the deflector and the roof.  These gaps actually seem to create more noise than before.  I think I know what I need to do to fix this, but I have not had an opportunity.  Winter came before I could fix it.  I will hopefully fix it this Spring by bending the clips forward to help pull the ends down.

This is the package.  It included the deflector, 2 clips, 2 screws, 2 vinyl protection strips and the instructions

These pictures show the deflector installed.

Hopefully, I will be able to get better photos up this spring of how the deflector is actually installed.
